Saint Cuthbert

Cuthbert was born in the British Isles. He was poor and worked as a shepherd boy. When he was fifteen Cuthbert received a vision. He decided to become a Benedictine monk. He joined the monastery in Melrose. Cuthbert traveled from house to house by horse and by foot, he visited those who needed help spiritually and helped plague victims.
